  1. Crush the tender tamarind leaves with your hands and keep aside.

  2. Place a pan on the flame and add oil and heat it.

  3. Add Chopped green chillies and fry well.  Add ginger garlic paste and fry well.

  4. Now add turmeric powder, chopped onions and stir well, Close the lid and saute for 5 minutes and keep stirring between.

  5. After 5 minutes add red chilli powder and salt to taste and stir well, close the lid and saute for more 2 minutes. 

  6. After 2 minutes open the lid and add tender tamarind leaves and mix well.

  7. Now close the lid and saute for more 2 minutes in low flame and switch off the flame.

  8. Takeout into a serving bowl and serve with rice, roti, poori etc.,
