How to cook Chicken | Chicken Recipe | Masala Chicken Curry
Ingredients & Measurements For marinate the chicken:
Skinless Chicken – 1 Kg
Ginger garlic paste – 2 teaspoons
Red Chilli Powder – 2 tablespoons
Salt to taste (1 ½ teaspoon)
Curd/Yogurt – ½ Cup
Ingredients & Measurements For cooking the chicken:
Oil – 4 spoons
Bay Leaf – 1
Cinnamon – 1 small pieces
Cloves – 5
Chopped Onion – 1 cup
Turmeric Powder – ½ teaspoon
Red Chilli Powder – 1 tablespoon
Salt to taste (½ teaspoon)
Cardamom – 2
Shahjeera / caraway seeds – ½ teaspoon
Green Chillies – 7 t 8 (Slit)
Dry coconut powder – 1 tablespoon
Water – 2 cups
Coriander powder – 1 teaspoon
Garam Masala – ½ teaspoon
Chopped Coriander Leaves – ½ cup
Method:
Take 1 Kg Skinless Chicken add 2 teaspoons of ginger garlic paste and add 2 tablespoons of Red chilli powder, add Salt to taste (1 ½ teaspoon), Add Curd/Yogurt – ½ Cup, mix well and marinate for 15 minutes
Place a Big Bowl on the flame and add 4 spoons of oil and heat, add Bay Leaf – 1, Cinnamon – 1 small pieces, Cloves – 5, Cardamom – 2, Shahjeera / caraway seeds – ½ teaspoon, add Green Chillies – 7 t 8 (Slit), 1 cup of chopped onions and fry well for 1 to 2 minutes and add ½ teaspoon of turmeric powder, fry well and add chicken and mix well and close the lid and saute for 5 minutes, stir between, open the lid and add 1 teaspoon of red chilli powder and salt to taste (1/2 teaspoon), 1 tablespoon of dry coconut powder and mix well, close the lid and saute for 3 to 4 minutes in low flame, add 2 cups of water and mix well, close the lid and saute for 10 minutes in high flame and add 1 teaspoon of coriander powder , ½ teaspoon of garam masala and mix well, add chopped coriander leaves and cook for more 1 minute and switch off the flame.
